Product review: Maybelline BB Cream

Hey everyone,
How are you all doing? So, today I’m going to be doing a product review. I personally love reading or watching product reviews, so I thought I’d do one for you guys too. This is my first one so wish me luck. J So, today’s product is going to be Maybelline New York BB Cream. I’m not much of a makeup person. I mean I love doing makeup but I don’t wear makeup all the time and for days with no foundation, BB Cream is a life saver. You people already know my love for Maybelline products. I mean there’s seriously not a single thing that I don’t love. So, I thought of giving its BB Cream a try too. So, let’s get started.

Packing: The first thing that I see in a product is whether it’s handy or not. This one is a little small in size and that’s a plus point as it’s easy for me to carry it around if I need to.

Usage: You only need to take a pea sized amount or maybe a little more depending on your preference but as for me, a little amount goes a long way. And you can easily apply it with your hands too. You don’t need any brush or sponge for the application.

Coverage: It has a good coverage (maybe not as good as foundation) but as compared to other BB Creams, it is quite good in covering blemishes and redness.

Sun care and moisture: It has a SPF 21, so no need to apply any sun screen lotion. Plus, it hydrated your skin all day (app. 8 hrs) but I do have to apply a little moisturizer around my mouth before applying the BB Cream as that part gets dry very fast. So, that’s a minus point. L

Result: I am quite happy with it and going to use it a lot right now. And for a natural look add kohl to your lower lash line and a natural/neutral shade lipstick and you’re good to go. J

You can buy it here. I use the natural shade but it does come in more shades.

So, that’s all for today’s post. I hope you all liked it and do let me know which BB Cream do you use in the comments section below. And I’ll see you in my next post.

P.S. I need at least 50 followers to have a giveaway for you people. So, make sure to follow me and let more and more people know about it.

Favorite nail shades

Hey everyone,

How are you all doing? :) Today I am gonna be posting about my favorite nail paints for fall/winter. I am a total nail paint freak. I mean I just love nail paints and I change them almost every day according to my mood. If you follow me on instagram, you might have noticed I post a lot of #NailsOfTheDay pictures. So, I thought why not do a post on it and share some of my favorites with my lovely readers too. So, here I am.

These are among my most used nail paints. I'll go through them one by one.

1. FACES Silver Delight 22- Its a shimmery silver color. I like this nail paint a lot but only for the first two days. No matter how much top coat you add to it, the shimmer part of it erases and then it doesn't really look good after that. So, for the first two days, its great.

2. COLORESSENCE Midnight Blue H-6- This will be my second favorite color for this season. I know its not really a dark toned and winter type of shade but I really don't care and I absolutely love it. Sometimes, I add a clear glittery nail paint on top of it and it makes it even more gorgeous. I posted a picture on instagram of me wearing it like that too.

3. COLORESSENCE Chocolate 14- And this, my friends, is my favorite of all. I absolutely love love love this color. My fingers actually look like chocolate when I wear it. Ans sometimes, I kind of wanna eat it too. ;) lol. :D Anyways, its just awesome.

4. STREET WEAR Ash 31- This color is like a bronze shade which looks just gorgeous. I mostly wore it on my hands but recently (actually right now), I'm wearing it on my toes which doesn't look that bad.

5. LAKME Cremes 421- This is the most popular and loved shade this season. On its first coat, it gives a normal maroon type of a color but after the second coat, it just turns into a blakish kind of shade, which is awesome too but not really what I thought it would be.

So, this is all for this post. I hope you all liked it and do let me know about your favorite nail paints in the comments section below. I'd love to read them. :)

DIY face mask

Hey everyone,
How are you all doing? I am sorry for being late with this post. So, today I am going to show you all how to make your own face mask at home with some things that you all must be using in your daily routine. So let's get started.

So, start by taking a spoonful of curd. Then add about that much of gram flour in it too. Add a pinch of turmeric powder and mix it all together. If it comes out to be too thick, then you can add little bit of rose water too, to make it a little more liquidy. And there you are with your home made face mask which doesn't have any harmful chemicals or any side effects and also so easy to make. This is like my everyday routine before I go to bed in the evening. And if you have dry skin, you can also add a spoon of honey to it. Honey will give your skin some extra moisture as it needs. So, this is all for today's post. I hope you all liked it. :)

I'll soon be doing a giveaway on my blog but before I do that, I need at least 50 followers of my blog. So guys, share about this blog with your friends and family and let them know about it, and as soon as I hit 50 followers, I'll announce the giveaway so stay tuned all of you.

Thank you so much. :)

DIY lip scrub

Hey everyone,
So, this is my first post this year and I hope it will be a good new start. Anyways, today's post is about how to make a natural lip scrub at home. First of all, I would like to say a very very happy new year to all of you. So, have you all made out your new year's resolutions? I know I haven't. :P
Do tell me your new year resolutions in the comments below or tweet me at jyoti1201.

So, moving on to the DIY lip scrub. Its pretty simple and easy. Take a spoon of olive oil and add about half a spoon of sugar in it. And you're done. It's so so so easy and leaves your lips so soft and supple. I do this every week and I love my lips after this. And I'm sure you're gonna love them too. Oh, and after scrubbing your lips, do apply a lip balm to keep them hydrated. I'm currently loving the maybelline baby lips lip balm in berry crush. Its makes my lips so soft and at the same time, gives it a little colour too.

So, that's all for this post. Hope you all liked it and do let me know if you try it out. And don't forget to check out my post on DIY hairspray. Thank you and have a wonderful day. :)
